Briefing
MPA-SEM incorporates into the course development Tongji University's traditional superiority in the fields of Architecture, Urban Planning, Transportation, Environment, Project Management, and Real Estate. Through creating a “Platform of Government, Industry, Teaching, and Research” for local government, research institutions and universities, MPA-SEM is committed to exploring how to solve systematically city development strategy, city governance, and city system establishment in this epoch of globalization.

Objective
To cultivate top-level city public affairs management and public policy analysis talents with international vision, strategic insight and modern management philosophy for city governments (including non-government public management institutions).

International Cooperation
Internationalization is and has always been an important strategy in the development of MPA programme. Currently, collaborations have been established with German and French universities, while those with Britain's and America's are proactively being developed.
